Mrugavani National Park is a protected national park located near Chilkur in Hyderabad, Telangana. Spread across nearly 1,211 acres, the park was declared a national park in 1994 and is known for its dry deciduous forest ecosystem, spotted deer population, birdwatching opportunities, and short wildlife safari rides. The park is home to more than 600 plant species and several animals including sambar deer, wild boar, civet cats, monitor lizards, peacocks, and snakes.
