Galathea National Park is one of the most remote and ecologically rich national parks in India. Located on Great Nicobar Island, the park forms part of the UNESCO-recognized Great Nicobar Biosphere Reserve. Established in 1992, it covers around 110 sq. km and is separated from Campbell Bay National Park by a dense forest buffer zone.
