Govind Pashu Vihar National Park and Wildlife Sanctuary is a high-altitude protected area located near Uttarkashi in Uttarakhand. It was first established as a wildlife sanctuary in 1955 and later upgraded to a national park. The park is known for its alpine ecosystems, Himalayan wildlife, and scenic trekking routes.
