Kalesar National Park is a beautiful wildlife reserve located in the Shivalik foothills of Haryana’s Yamunanagar district. Spread across nearly 53 sq. km, the park is famous for dense Sal forests, scenic landscapes, birdwatching, and wildlife including leopards, deer, wild boars, jungle cats, and elephants that occasionally migrate from nearby forests. The park also acts as an important wildlife corridor connecting forests of Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, and Uttar Pradesh.
