Keibul Lamjao National Park is a unique wildlife sanctuary located on the famous Loktak Lake in Manipur. It is globally recognized as the world’s only floating national park because of its floating marshy vegetation known as “phumdis.” Spread across approximately 40 sq km, the park is the natural habitat of the endangered Sangai deer, also known as the dancing deer of Manipur.
