Intanki National Park, also known as Ntangki National Park, is the only national park in Nagaland. Located in the Peren district near Dimapur, the park is famous for its dense tropical forests, rolling hills, rivers, and rare wildlife species. Originally established as a reserved forest in 1923, it became a wildlife sanctuary in 1975 and was officially declared a national park in 1993. The park spreads across approximately 202 sq km and was later declared an elephant reserve in 2005.
