Indravati National Park is one of the most important wildlife reserves in central India, located in Bijapur district of Chhattisgarh. It is famous for its dense forests, tiger reserve status, and endangered wild buffalo population. The park was declared a National Park in 1981 and became a Tiger Reserve in 1983 under Project Tiger.
