Namdapha National Park is one of the largest protected areas in India, spread across approximately 1,985.23 km² in the Eastern Himalayas of Arunachal Pradesh. Established as a national park in 1983, it is globally recognized as a biodiversity hotspot with dense tropical rainforests, alpine meadows, and rich wildlife habitats. The park is home to over 1,000 plant species and around 1,400 animal species, making it one of the most ecologically diverse national parks in Northeast India.
