Kamla Nehru Prani Sangrahalaya, popularly known as Indore Zoo, is one of the oldest and largest zoological parks in Madhya Pradesh. Established in 1974, the zoo spans nearly 52 acres in the heart of Indore and is managed by the Indore Municipal Corporation. Home to more than 57 species of mammals, birds, and reptiles, the zoo plays an important role in wildlife conservation, breeding programs, and environmental education. It is also recognized as one of India’s first “smart zoos” with online ticketing and touchless entry systems.
