Mahavir Harina Vanasthali National Park is a famous deer national park located in Vanasthalipuram, Hyderabad, Telangana. Spread across nearly 15 sq. km (around 3,600 acres), it is one of the largest green lung spaces in Hyderabad city. The park was established in 1975 and named in honor of Lord Mahavir, the 24th Jain Tirthankara. Earlier, this region served as a hunting ground for the Nizams of Hyderabad.

Best in the Park
The major attraction of the park is the graceful Blackbuck (Indian antelope), which can often be seen moving in herds across the grasslands. The park is also famous for birdwatching, especially during winter migration season.
