Nameri National Park is a beautiful protected area located in the foothills of the eastern Himalayas in Sonitpur district, Assam. It lies around 35 km from Tezpur and shares its northern boundary with the Pakhui Wildlife Sanctuary of Arunachal Pradesh. The park is known for rich biodiversity, river rafting, elephant habitat, and birdwatching.
